This afternoon a notice was sent home by the administrative team to remind parents of the visitor policy. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of our children and to make sure that all time is spent on learning. In that light, parents will have to say goodbye to students at the front hallway and will not be allowed down the hallway unless they have an appointment with a teacher. If you have an appointment, you need to first stop by the office for a visitor pass and to sign in. I am sure that you are aware of the dangers of allowing any adult to wander the building without checking in at the office and so the staff appreciates your adherence to this policy.
Starting tomorrow the visitor policy will be enforced, so if you need to meet with me, please just send me a short note or text to request an appointment and we can schedule a time to talk. I am usually at school by 6:00 a.m. and can always set aside a few minutes for a parent. As a team leader I have afterschool meetings most days, but I am usually available on Fridays right after school.
