Recipe for Slime

Ingredients needed:   Borax (available in laundry aisle at grocery store or Walmart)

                                      4 oz. White glue (Elmer's brand, but not School Glue)

                                      Large Ziploc baggie (gallon size better)

                                      food coloring (optional)

                                      water

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. 

    A.  Mix together ¼ cup of glue with ¼ cup of water. 

    B.  Add three drops of food coloring to this mixture and mix it up.

    C.  Mix 1 Tbsp. borax with 1 cup tap water until borax dissolves.

    D.  Pour a ½ cup of borax solution into the Ziploc baggie.

    E.  Carefully pour the colored glue solution into the baggie.

    F.  Zip the baggie up tight, letting out any extra air.

    G.  Knead the mixture, being careful not to puncture the baggie, for one minute.

            H.  Reach in and get out the “slime" and have fun.  You can pour out most of the extra liquid.

        Slime is not edible.
